Kevin Towle is running for State Representative for the First Berkshire District, consisting of Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, Hancock, Lanesborough, New Ashford, North Adams, and Williamstown. Kevin currently serves as Legislative Aide in the District Office of State Representative Gail Cariddi. As Aide to Rep. Cariddi, Kevin led the legislative and budget efforts for the office in addition to researching and writing legislation, including reviewing over 5,000 bills filed this session. Kevin knows the people, he knows the ins-and-outs of the bills, and he's ready to represent you on day one.
Prior to working with Rep. Cariddi, Kevin earned his bachelors degree in history and political science from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Recently, Kevin earned his masters degree in government from Johns Hopkins University.
As your State Representative, Kevin will:
- Be a leader for the transition to 100% renewable energy, including working to create green energy jobs and encouraging innovation;
- Fight for a change to the school aid formula to benefit rural school districts;
- Work to create a single-payer healthcare system;
- Address the key challenges facing the District by sponsoring legislation to encourage economic development and education.
Kevin lives in Lanesborough with his wife, their two dogs, and will soon be welcoming a son.
